H.I.V.E.

By: Mark Walden

Do you ever think that schools will kidnap children, or have you ever get kidnapped by a school? You think it’s impossible right? No, it is possible. In the book, Otto Malpense got kidnapped by H.I.V.E. (The Higher Institution Of Villainous Education), and they even got permission. From his parent!

When Otto Malpense woke up in the morning, he found himself on a helicopter. He was kidnapped by H.I.V.E. and was going to their headquarter. He knew why he was in the school, he builds a microbot, and trick an important person so he can save his orphanage. Otto knew that he has to get out of the school, he doesn’t want to spend six years in the school, which is like jail! But the headquarter was highly protected, it was in a fake volcano, guarded by trained guards etc. the headquarter is out of nowhere! They went to their villainous class and studied the teachers and the principal, finding a way to break out. Otto and his friend are planning on a plan while attending to their regular classes, they think they should use the submarine to get out, but they found out that the security was too strong, it was nearly impossible to break out! Can Otto and his friend escape from the so-called jail, H.I.V.E.? Or they would have to be in the school for 6 years, and become a villain?

Otto is very friendly, he makes friends very fast in H.I.V.E. He also supports them and they work together. For example, on the first day of school, Otto got bullied because he hit on the wrong table on the cafeteria, Otto knocked one of the bullies down, but the other one picked him up. However, one of his friends, Wing, helped him knock the bully down. He and his friend went through times that are hard, and encourage each other to stand up. This is why I think Otto is very friendly, and also his friend is friendly too.

I think this is a very good book, it has an ending that will surprise you, and it was unexpected! I rate this book 8/10. If you like the genre of adventure and science fiction, you will love this book. You should quickly go to the library and check out this book! Good luck readers!
